Ted Adams

Title: Minister of Music

About Ted:
My story at Lee Road is a little different. My family and I first came to Lee Road January of 1981 as Minister of Music and Youth. Our family, at that time, consisted of my wife, Vicki, and our daughter, Amy. Our second daughter, Amanda, was born in Greenville in 1982. Over the next 26 years parts of that responsibility have changed, with the one constant being the music responsibility. In those years I have served with six pastors, seen many changes in the ministry, and many people come and go. In 2006 God called us to Morrisville, NC to get involved in assisting in planting a new church. Walking away
from this place that had become home was very difficult, but we chose to be obedient to God’s leadership. After serving in NC for several months we began feeling like God had another move in our future. Lee Road then called and asked if we would consider returning to the ministry in Taylors. After prayer and Godly counsel, we made ourselves available and God brought us back to this place of service. In our finite way of thinking, God’s work in the lives of His people does not make sense some times. It is not our responsibility to figure it all out in a way that makes sense to us. It is our responsibility to be obedient to His leadership. What is God leading you to do for Him today? Don’t hesitate. Do as the first disciples did. “Immediately they followed”. Go and do likewise.
Educational Background - Carson-Newman College and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary
Favorite Pastime - Being with my family
Favorite Sport - All of them, but the only one I feel I can still effectively participate in is golf.

Bryan Pittman
Title: Family Life Minister
About Bryan:
I was born in Greenville, South Carolina and feel blessed to serve in my home area. My wife, Emily is also from Greenville. We married in June of 2004 and our first child, Bethany Bryn, was born January 15, 2008.
After earning an associate in arts degree at Greenville Technical College, Greenville, SC, I obtained a bachelor of arts in English at the University of South Carolina, Spartanburg, SC. My favorite authors are C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien and Mark Twain. I am also a fan of Don Miller because of his honest approach to telling his spiritual journey.
My favorite movie(s) are the “Lord of the Rings” series and “Braveheart.” I love the line Mel Gibson’s character, William Wallace, says; “Every man dies. Not every man truly lives.”
I love the Gamecocks of USC as well as the Seattle Seahawks. I enjoy watching all kinds of sports, but mainly the “real” ones: football, basketball, baseball, and hockey.
I have been influenced by many people in my life, but the person with the strongest influence is my mother. Through her life I have seen strength, faith, and grace regardless of circumstances.
My goal in ministry is to love people the way Jesus wants us to and by doing so let the world know we are his disciples.

Title: Youth Minister
Email:

About me: My story is also a little different. I first came to Lee Road in 1986 and served as an interim youth minister. I returned as a full time youth pastor. In August of 2004 I felt God calling me to another ministry, and leaving this place was difficult. Little did I know that was a temporary departure, for I returned exactly 5 years to the day I left. When Lee Road approached me about returning a third time, God reminded me that He really does work in unusual ways! My wife Angela and I have two sons - Travis Lalani and David. Angela and I love the students that come into our ministry, and our home has an open door for all of them. Whenever possible, I would rather be their friend than their minister. I believe Christianity must be relationship oriented and not just religion. We have a very active program with weekly activities and retreats several times a year. We "do life" together. If you're a student - come check us out!
Educational Background - Graduate of North Greenville University
Favorite Pastime - Spending time with my family, friends and students
Favorite Sport - Racquetball (I teach everybody in the group who wants to learn how to play)
